Your prompts and boards are never logged. **What does Rendered need?** Nothing extra. Connect your Mobbin account and Rendered styles your screens after similar real apps on Mobbin, or press Render without Mobbin and it designs them from Builderii's own earlier renders of the same kind of screen. Renders are temporary until you press Apply, which turns them into editable screens on the board. **How do Claude and ChatGPT connect?** Through Builderii's MCP server. Add it in Claude, Claude Code or ChatGPT (or install the plugin), sign in, and allow access. You can see and disconnect connected apps in Settings, and make personal access tokens for agents that can't sign in. **Can I bring my existing diagrams?** Yes. Import or paste Excalidraw, draw.io and Mermaid, paste cells from a spreadsheet as a table or an org chart, and paste SQL or Prisma to draw a database. Export goes to PNG, SVG, PDF, PowerPoint, draw.io, Mermaid, SQL and JSON. **Does it work on my phone?** On a phone, boards open for looking: pan, pinch to zoom, read and open comments, copy the link and play the prototype. Making and editing boards is for a computer or a tablet. **Is Builderii an alternative to Figma or Whimsical?** For early product work, yes: Builderii has Whimsical's keyboard speed for flowcharts, mind maps and wireframes, and Figma-style screens and clickable prototypes, on one board with AI. For final, pixel-perfect UI and design systems, Figma is still the tool. See every comparison. **Can the AI make wireframes and flowcharts from a prompt?** Yes. Describe what you need and the AI draws linked app screens, flowcharts, mind maps, sequence diagrams, sitemaps, roadmaps or database diagrams, laid out by Builderii and editable like anything else. Ask again and it changes them in place. **Who can see my boards?** Only the people you share them with, at the role you choose: editor, commenter or viewer. Link access is off until you turn it on, and roles are enforced on the server. ## Builderii vs Figma, Whimsical, Miro and 11 More Tools URL: https://www.builderii.com/alternatives/ Updated: 2026-10-30 Builderii is a free, browser-based canvas that puts flowcharts, mind maps, wireframes and clickable prototypes on one board, with an AI that draws and edits them. Describe an app and its AI draws linked screens; one switch moves them between low fidelity, your brand and Rendered final designs; a test link brings back tap heatmaps. For final pixel-perfect UI, design systems and Dev Mode, Figma is still the tool. - Best for: Founders, PMs and designers shaping an idea before the pixel polish - Figma does better: Final UI, design systems with variants, Dev Mode and Smart Animate - Moving over: Paste a Figma link as an embed, or turn a screenshot into an editable wireframe - Price: Free while it's new, with every feature and 200 AI jobs a month ### Features - **Prompt to linked screens**: Describe an app or a website and the AI draws its screens in device frames, already linked, with a start screen, ready to play. - **Flows next to screens**: Flowcharts, mind maps, sitemaps and sticky notes sit beside the screens they describe. No second file, no second tool. - **Low-fi, high-fi, Rendered**: One switch (Shift+W) moves every screen between a sketchy wireframe and your brand. Rendered redraws them as final designs with real photos. - **Clickable prototypes**: Link any element to a screen, choose click or hover and a transition, then press Cmd+Enter to play. - **Tests with real people**: Share a test link and get tap heatmaps, time on each screen and where people stopped, without a separate testing tool. - **Your brand from a URL**: Paste your website: Builderii reads its colours, fonts and corner rounding and puts them on every high-fidelity screen. - **Make it real**: Turn a screen into a live HTML preview and a React and Tailwind component to hand to engineering. - **Claude and ChatGPT**: An MCP server with 37 tools lets your AI assistant draw and change boards for you, as you. ### From a blank board to a prototype in minutes. 1. **Describe it**: Type what you're building on Home, or press / on any board and pick App screens. Pick Figma to finish UI, Whimsical to think fast, or Builderii for Whimsical-style speed and Figma-style screens and Play on one board. - Figma: Final UI, design systems, Dev Mode and advanced prototyping - Whimsical: Quick flowcharts, mind maps, low-fi wireframes and docs - Builderii: Flows, screens and a tested prototype on one AI canvas - Price to start: All three have a free plan; Builderii's has every feature ### Figma, Whimsical and Builderii, side by side. | Feature | Figma | Whimsical | Builderii | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Best for | Final, pixel-perfect UI and design systems | Fast flowcharts, mind maps, wireframes and docs | Idea to tested prototype on one board | | Flowcharts and mind maps | In FigJam | Yes, keyboard-fast | Yes, keyboard-fast, and drawn and changed by AI | | Wireframes | Build your own or use a kit | A clean low-fidelity kit | 46 components; low-fi, high-fi and Rendered | | Clickable prototypes | Yes, advanced | Not built in | Yes, with transitions and a player | | User tests with heatmaps | Through third-party tools | Not built in | Built in | | AI | Figma AI and Figma Make | Whimsical AI | Nine kinds of diagram, edits in place, Rendered and code | | Learning curve | Steeper; built for designers | Gentle | Gentle; single-key tools, Cmd+K and AI | | Price to start | A free Starter plan | A free plan with limits | Free, with every feature | Compared from each product's public pages in October 2026; features change, so check before you decide. Its vector tools, auto layout, components with variants and shared libraries make it the standard for design systems, and Dev Mode hands specs to engineers. Its prototyping goes deep, with Smart Animate and variables. FigJam, its whiteboard, covers brainstorming and diagrams in a separate kind of file. The trade-off is speed for early work: wireframing a flow from scratch takes longer, and diagrams live apart from the screens. ### What Whimsical is best at Whimsical is quick. Flowcharts, mind maps, wireframes and docs share a calm, keyboard-friendly style, and its wireframes are clean and low fidelity by design. It's a favourite for planning and thinking work. The trade-off is depth for product design: there are no clickable prototypes with transitions, and wireframes stay low fidelity. ### Where Builderii fits Builderii borrows Whimsical's keyboard speed and Figma's screens-and-Play, and adds an AI that builds and edits alongside you. Describe an app and get linked screens; switch them between low-fi, high-fi and Rendered final designs; press Play; and share a test link that brings back tap heatmaps. Flowcharts, mind maps and sticky notes sit on the same board. For final production UI and design systems, Figma is still the tool. For everything before that, Builderii puts it on one canvas. ### Questions **Is Whimsical better than Figma for wireframes?** For quick, low-fidelity wireframes, many people find Whimsical faster. For high-fidelity screens and design systems, Figma goes much further. Builderii covers both ends: a low-fi kit and a one-switch high-fi look, plus Rendered final designs. **Can Whimsical make clickable prototypes?** Whimsical doesn't have clickable prototypes with transitions built in, as of October 2026. Figma and Builderii both do; Builderii adds test links with tap heatmaps. **Which is easier to learn?** Whimsical and Builderii are quicker to pick up; Figma is deeper and takes longer to master. **Is there a tool that does both?** Builderii puts Whimsical-style diagrams and Figma-style screens and prototypes on one canvas, with AI that builds alongside you. It's free while it's new. ## Figma vs FigJam: What's the Difference? | Builderii URL: https://www.builderii.com/figma-vs-figjam/ Updated: 2026-10-30 Figma (Figma Design) is an interface design tool for screens, components, design systems and prototypes. FigJam is Figma's online whiteboard for brainstorming, sticky notes, diagrams and workshops. They're separate kinds of file in the same company's platform. Use Figma to design the product and FigJam to think about it; Builderii puts the whiteboard, the flow, the screens and the prototype on one board. - Figma: Interface design: screens, components, design systems, prototypes, Dev Mode - FigJam: Whiteboarding: stickies, diagrams, workshops, stamps and voting - Same file?: No: separate kinds of file in Figma's platform - One board for both: Builderii: workshop, flow, screens and prototype together ### Figma, FigJam and Builderii, side by side. | Feature | Figma | FigJam | Builderii | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Made for | Designing interfaces | Whiteboarding and workshops | Idea to tested prototype on one board | | Sticky notes, voting and a timer | No | Yes | Yes | | Flowcharts and mind maps | Not its focus | Yes | Yes, keyboard-fast and drawn by AI | | Wireframes and screens | Yes, pixel-perfect | Not its focus | 46 components; low-fi, high-fi and Rendered | | Clickable prototypes | Yes, advanced | No | Yes, with test links and heatmaps | | Design systems and Dev Mode | Yes | No | No | | Price to start | A free Starter plan | A free Starter plan | Free, with every feature | Compared from each product's public pages in October 2026; features change, so check before you decide. It's built for designers, and it's the industry standard for production UI. ### What FigJam is for FigJam is Figma's online whiteboard: sticky notes, stamps, voting, a timer, simple diagrams and flowcharts, templates for workshops, and FigJam AI. It's friendlier for the whole team, including people who never open a design file. FigJam boards and Figma design files are separate files, though they share an account, a team and libraries. ### When one board is simpler Product work moves from the whiteboard to the design: notes become a flow, the flow becomes screens, the screens become a prototype. With Figma and FigJam that's a hand-off between files. Builderii keeps it on one board: stickies with voting and AI clustering, flowcharts and mind maps, linked wireframes in low or high fidelity, and a clickable prototype you can test with real people. For final, pixel-perfect UI and design systems, Figma is still the tool. ### Questions **Is FigJam the same as Figma?** No. Both are made by Figma, but Figma (Figma Design) is an interface design tool, and FigJam is a separate online whiteboard for brainstorming, diagrams and workshops. They use different kinds of file. **Can you prototype in FigJam?** No. Clickable prototypes are made in Figma Design. FigJam is for whiteboarding and diagrams. Builderii has both on one board. **Is FigJam free?** FigJam has a free Starter plan with limits, like Figma, and paid plans per seat. Check Figma's pricing page for current limits. **Is there one tool for whiteboarding and prototyping?** Builderii puts sticky notes, flowcharts, mind maps, wireframes and clickable prototypes on one canvas, with AI that builds alongside you. It's free while it's new. ## Miro vs FigJam: Which Online Whiteboard Should You Use? Then wireframe the pages in browser frames, apply your brand from a URL, and link them into a clickable prototype. - Input: A description of the website, or an existing site's structure - Output: A page tree with each page's sections - Then: Web wireframes, your brand from a URL, and a prototype - Price: Free while it's new, with every feature and 200 AI jobs a month ### Features - **Pages and sections**: Each page card lists its sections, from hero to footer. - **Changed by asking**: "Add a careers page under About." The tree updates in place. - **Web wireframes**: Website sections in browser frames, low-fi or high-fi. - **Your brand**: Paste a website address for its colours, fonts and corner rounding. - **A clickable site**: Link the pages and press Play, or share a test link. - **Share the plan**: PNG, SVG, PDF or PowerPoint for clients and stakeholders. ### From a description to a site plan. 1. **Press /**: Pick Sitemap in the AI bar, or start from the Website sitemap template. 2. **Describe the site**: "A site for a yoga studio with classes, teachers, pricing and a blog." 3. **Shape it**: Ask to add or move pages; the tree lays itself out again. 4. **Wireframe the pages**: Ask for a page's wireframe, or build it from website sections. ### Questions **What is a visual sitemap?** A diagram of a website's pages and how they nest, from the home page down, often with each page's main sections. It's for planning a site, unlike the XML sitemap a search engine reads. **Is the visual sitemap generator free?** Yes. Builderii is free while it's new, with every feature on and 200 AI jobs a month per person. Viewers and commenters will always be free, and paid plans will publish their AI allowances. **Can I turn the sitemap into wireframes?** Yes. Ask the AI for a page's wireframe, or build pages from the website sections in the component library, then link them into a prototype. ## Wireframe vs Mockup vs Prototype: What's the Difference? URL: https://www.builderii.com/wireframe-vs-mockup-vs-prototype/ Updated: 2026-10-30 A wireframe is a low-fidelity layout of a screen: boxes, labels and structure, with no visual design. A mockup is a static, high-fidelity picture of how the screen will look, with colour, type and images. A prototype is interactive: screens linked so people can click or tap through a flow and you can watch what they do. Teams usually go wireframe, then mockup, then prototype. - Wireframe: Structure and layout; low fidelity; minutes to change - Mockup: Static visual design: colour, type, imagery - Prototype: Interactive: linked screens to click through and test - In Builderii: One set of screens: Shift+W switches fidelity, Play makes it a prototype ### Wireframe, mockup and prototype, side by side. | | Wireframe | Mockup | Prototype | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Fidelity | Low: boxes, labels, placeholders | High: real colour, type and images | Low or high | | Interactive | No | No | Yes: linked screens, transitions | | Answers | What goes where? | What will it look like? | Can people use it? | | Time to make | Minutes | Hours | Minutes to hours, from the other two | | Best feedback | Structure and flow | Visual design and brand | Real behaviour: taps, paths, drop-off | | Made by | PMs, designers, founders | Designers | Anyone with screens to link | ### What is a wireframe? A wireframe is the blueprint of a screen. It shows what goes where (navigation, headings, buttons, lists, images as placeholders) without colours, fonts or real imagery. Wireframes are usually grey and deliberately rough, so people comment on the structure and the flow rather than the styling. Because they're fast to make and to change, wireframes are where you try ideas: three layouts for a home screen, two ways to order a checkout. They're a conversation tool for product managers, designers, engineers and clients. ### What is a mockup? A mockup is a static, high-fidelity image of a screen as it will look: real colours, typography, icons, images and spacing, often in the brand. It answers "what will it look like?" rather than "what goes where?". Mockups are for visual decisions and sign-off. They take longer to make than wireframes, so they come after the structure is agreed. ### What is a prototype? A prototype is a set of screens linked together so you can click or tap through them as if they were the real product: a button opens the next screen, a back arrow goes back, with transitions between them. It can be built from wireframes (a low-fidelity prototype) or from mockups (a high-fidelity prototype). Prototypes are for testing. Put one in front of real people with a task, such as "book a dog walk for tomorrow", and watch where they tap, where they hesitate and where they give up, before anything is built. ### When to use each Use wireframes while you're still deciding what the product does and in what order. Use mockups when the structure is settled and the look needs deciding. Use a prototype whenever you need to know whether people can actually get through the flow, which is often earlier than teams think: a clickable low-fidelity prototype tests a flow perfectly well. ### One set of screens, all three In most tools these are three separate artefacts, redrawn at each step. In [Builderii](https://www.builderii.com/) they're one set of screens: draw them as low-fidelity wireframes (or let the AI draw them from a description), press Shift+W to see them as high-fidelity mockups in your brand, or redraw them as Rendered final designs, and link them into a prototype you play with Cmd+Enter and test with a share link that brings back tap heatmaps. ### Questions **Is a wireframe the same as a prototype?** No. A wireframe is a static layout of one screen; a prototype links screens so you can click through them. Wireframes can be turned into a prototype by linking them, which is called a low-fidelity prototype. **Which comes first, a wireframe or a mockup?** Usually the wireframe. Agree the structure and flow in low fidelity, then decide the visual design in a mockup. A prototype can come from either. **Do I need all three?** Not always. Small changes can go straight from a wireframe to a prototype; a well-known pattern may skip wireframes. The point is to test the riskiest thing first, as cheaply as possible. **What is a low-fidelity prototype?** Linked wireframes: rough, grey screens you can click through. It's the fastest way to test whether a flow makes sense before investing in visual design. **Is there a tool that does all three?** Builderii keeps wireframes, high-fidelity mockups and the clickable prototype as one set of screens: Shift+W switches fidelity and Play runs the prototype. It's free while it's new. ## How to Make a Wireframe in 7 Steps (by Hand or with AI) URL: https://www.builderii.com/how-to-make-a-wireframe/ Updated: 2026-10-30 To make a wireframe: define the goal and who it's for, map the flow of screens, pick the device, block out each screen's layout with simple components, use real content instead of lorem ipsum, link the screens and test them with a few people, then refine and raise the fidelity. In Builderii you can do it by hand with a 46-component kit, or describe the app and let AI draw linked screens to start from. - Time: From 10 minutes for one screen to an afternoon for a flow - You need: A goal, the flow, and a wireframe tool (or paper) - Fidelity: Start low; raise it once the structure is agreed - With AI: Describe the app; get linked screens to edit ### How to make a wireframe. 1. **Define the goal**: Write down who the screen is for and what they need to get done, such as "a new customer books their first dog walk". 2. **Map the flow**: List the screens in order, with the decisions between them. A quick flowchart helps; so does a mind map of features. 3. **Pick the device**: Phone, tablet, web or desktop. Start with the one most people will use. 4. **Block out the layout**: Place navigation, headings, primary actions, lists and images as simple components. Keep it grey and rough. 5. **Use real content**: Real labels and plausible data reveal problems lorem ipsum hides, like a button label that doesn't fit. 6. **Link and test**: Link the screens into a clickable prototype and ask three to five people to complete the goal. Watch, don't explain. 7. **Refine, then polish**: Fix what tripped people up, then raise the fidelity: brand colours, type and real imagery. ### Why wireframe first Wireframes make the expensive mistakes cheap. Moving a box in a wireframe takes seconds; moving it after visual design, or after it's built, takes days. A rough look also gets better feedback: people comment on the flow and the content instead of the shade of blue. ### What to include Every wireframe should show the navigation, the screen's main heading, the primary action and its label, the content that matters (lists, cards, forms) and the states that matter (empty, loading, error). Leave out colours, fonts, imagery and pixel-level spacing; they come later. ### Common mistakes Polishing too early. Designing one screen at a time instead of the flow. Using placeholder text that hides real problems. Skipping the empty and error states. And never testing: a wireframe nobody has tried to use is still a guess. ### Doing it with AI AI is good at the first draft. In [Builderii's AI wireframe generator](https://www.builderii.com/ai-wireframe-generator/), describe the app ("a dog-walking app with booking, a live map and payments") and you get linked screens in device frames, made of real, editable components. Then do steps 5 to 7 yourself: real content, a test, and a round of refinement. You can also turn a screenshot or a photo of a paper sketch into an editable wireframe. ### Questions **What should a wireframe include?** Navigation, the main heading, the primary action, the key content (lists, cards, forms) and the important states (empty, loading, error), in a rough, grey style without final colours, fonts or images. **How long does it take to make a wireframe?** A single screen can take ten minutes; a flow of five to ten screens an afternoon. With AI drawing the first draft, you can have linked screens to react to in a minute. **Can I make a wireframe for free?** Yes. Builderii is free while it's new, with a 46-component wireframe kit, device frames, AI screens and clickable prototypes. Paper and a pen work too. **Should I wireframe on paper or in a tool?** Paper is great for the first five minutes. A tool lets you reuse components, link screens into a prototype, test with real people and share with your team. In Builderii, a photo of your paper sketch becomes an editable wireframe. **What comes after a wireframe?** A mockup (high-fidelity visual design) and a prototype (linked screens to test). See [wireframe vs mockup vs prototype](https://www.builderii.com/wireframe-vs-mockup-vs-prototype/). ## How to Make a Flowchart: Symbols, Steps and Tips URL: https://www.builderii.com/how-to-make-a-flowchart/ Updated: 2026-10-30 To make a flowchart: name the process and where it starts and ends, list the steps in order, turn each yes/no question into a decision, connect everything with arrows in the direction work moves, label each branch, and lay it out to read top to bottom or left to right. The standard symbols are an oval for start and end, a rectangle for a step, a diamond for a decision and a parallelogram for input or output. - Start and end: Oval (terminator) - Step: Rectangle (process) - Decision: Diamond, with labelled Yes / No arrows - Input or output: Parallelogram ### How to make a flowchart. 1. **Name the process**: Say what it covers and where it starts and ends: "a refund request, from the customer asking to the money arriving". 2. **List the steps**: Write every step in order as a short verb phrase: "check the order date", "approve the refund". 3. **Find the decisions**: Each yes/no question becomes a diamond with two labelled exits. 4. **Connect them**: Draw arrows in the direction work moves; every shape except the end needs a way out. 5. **Add the edge cases**: Error paths, retries and timeouts are where processes break; draw them. 6. **Lay it out**: Make it read top to bottom or left to right, with as few crossing lines as possible. ### Flowchart symbols and what they mean. | Symbol | Shape | Use it for | | --- | --- | --- | | Terminator | Oval or pill | Where the process starts and ends | | Process | Rectangle | A step someone or something does | | Decision | Diamond | A yes/no question that splits the flow; label each arrow | | Input / output | Parallelogram | Data going in or out, such as a form or a report | | Document | Rectangle with a wavy base | A document that's made or used | | Database | Cylinder | Stored data that's read or written | | Subprocess | Rectangle with double sides | A step with its own flowchart | | Arrow | Line with an arrowhead | The direction work moves | ### Tips for readable flowcharts Keep one level of detail per chart; move a big step into its own subprocess. Use verbs for steps and questions for decisions. Label every arrow out of a decision. Keep the main path straight and let exceptions branch off it. And keep the symbols standard so anyone can read it. ### Kinds of flowchart A process flowchart shows the steps of one process. A swimlane flowchart adds lanes for who does each step. A data flow diagram follows information instead of work. A [user flow](https://www.builderii.com/user-flow-diagram/) follows a person through a product, screen by screen. ### Making one in minutes In [Builderii's flowchart maker](https://www.builderii.com/flowchart-maker/), select a step and press Option+Arrow to add the next one, connected; elbow arrows route around other shapes; Shift+Option+V lays everything out again. Or press /, choose Flowchart and describe the process, and the AI draws it with typed shapes and labelled arrows, ready to change by asking. ### Questions **What are the basic flowchart symbols?** An oval for start and end, a rectangle for a process step, a diamond for a decision, a parallelogram for input or output, and arrows for the direction of flow. Documents, databases and subprocesses have their own shapes too. **What does a diamond mean in a flowchart?** A decision: a yes/no question that splits the flow into two paths. Label each arrow leaving it, such as Yes and No. **What is the easiest way to make a flowchart?** Describe the process to an AI flowchart generator and edit the result. In Builderii, press /, choose Flowchart and describe it; or build it from the keyboard with Option+Arrow. **Can I make a flowchart for free?** Yes. Builderii is free while it's new, with every feature on and 200 AI jobs a month per person. Viewers and commenters will always be free, and paid plans will publish their AI allowances. ## About Builderii: What It Is, Features and Pricing URL: https://www.builderii.com/about/ Updated: 2026-10-30 Builderii is an infinite canvas in the browser for flowcharts, mind maps, wireframes and clickable prototypes, with an AI that draws and edits diagrams and app screens from a prompt, and live collaboration for the team. It's keyboard-fast like Whimsical, has screens and Play like Figma, and has an AI that builds alongside you. Its positioning: describe it, sketch it or drag it, then click Play. ### What you can make Flowcharts, mind maps, app and website wireframes in low or high fidelity, Rendered final designs, clickable prototypes, sequence diagrams, sitemaps, database (ER) diagrams, roadmaps with real dates, org charts, architecture diagrams, workshops with sticky notes and voting, and rich-text docs, all on boards with as many pages as you need. There are 18 built-in templates, and any board can be saved as your own. ### How the AI works Press / on a board and pick a kind: app screens, flowchart, mind map, sequence diagram, sitemap, brainstorm, roadmap, database or Mermaid. The AI decides what goes on the board; Builderii's own layout engines decide where, so results are tidy and editable. Select part of a diagram and ask for a change, and it changes in place as one undo step, optionally waiting for your review. The AI also turns screenshots and sketches into wireframes, turns a screen into HTML and React code, writes specs with user stories, groups and summarises sticky notes, and expands ideas. Each person gets 200 AI jobs a month while Builderii is new. ### Wireframes, Rendered and prototypes The wireframe kit has 46 components in device frames for iPhone, Android, iPad, web, desktop and watch. Shift+W switches a board between low fidelity and high fidelity in your brand, which Builderii can read from your website's address. Rendered redraws screens as finished designs with real photos, styled after similar real apps (with a Mobbin account) or Builderii's own earlier renders, and Apply turns a render into editable layers. Link any element to a screen, press Cmd+Enter to play, and share a test link: testers need no account, and you get tap heatmaps, time per screen and drop-off, kept 180 days. ### Working together Everyone on a board sees live cursors and edits, can follow someone or spotlight themselves, chat at their cursor and react, and leave comments with @mentions that send a notification and an email. Boards are shared by email invite, team or link, as editor, commenter or viewer; guests on a share link can watch without an account. Teams have shared boards and projects, undo takes back only your own changes, and version history keeps autosaves and named versions. ### Claude, ChatGPT and MCP Builderii's MCP server at `https://app.builderii.com/mcp` gives AI assistants 37 tools that act with your access: generate any diagram from a prompt or a screenshot, read and search boards, change diagrams by name, add pages and comments. Plugins for Claude (with six skills) and ChatGPT add it in a few clicks. Apps sign in with OAuth 2.1 and a consent screen; agents that can't sign in use a personal access token you can revoke. See [Claude and ChatGPT](https://www.builderii.com/claude-chatgpt-diagrams/). ### Import and export Import Excalidraw and draw.io files (with their shapes, text, arrows and groups), paste Mermaid for native shapes, paste spreadsheet cells for a table or an org chart, and paste SQL or Prisma for a database diagram. Export PNG, SVG, PDF with a page per frame, PowerPoint with speaker notes, draw.io, Mermaid, SQL and a Builderii file. Embed a live board on any website with an iframe. ### Pricing Builderii is free while it's new, with every feature on and 200 AI jobs a month per person. Paid plans are planned and will publish their AI allowances; viewers and commenters will always be free. ### Privacy and security Boards are visible only to the people they're shared with, at the role given; link access is off until it's turned on, and roles are enforced on the server. Prompts and boards are never logged by the AI. Connected apps act with your access only and can be disconnected, and tokens revoked, at any time. ### How it compares Builderii overlaps with Figma, FigJam, Whimsical, Miro, Lucidchart, Excalidraw, draw.io, Balsamiq, Uizard, Visily, tldraw, Eraser, Mural and Relume. It's the better pick for going from an idea to a tested prototype on one board with AI; Figma is better for final, pixel-perfect UI and design systems, and dedicated tools are better for formal notations, self-hosting or enterprise facilitation. See [every comparison](https://www.builderii.com/alternatives/). ### Questions **What is Builderii?** An infinite canvas in the browser for flowcharts, mind maps, wireframes and clickable prototypes, with an AI that draws and edits diagrams and app screens, and live collaboration.
