Privacy policy
What Builderii collects, why, who helps us run it, and what you can do about it. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use your boards for advertising.

Who we are
Builderii is made by Pixel Worship, LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Builderii app at app.builderii.com, Builderii’s plugins and connector (including Builderii in ChatGPT and Claude), and this website, www.builderii.com. For questions or requests about your information, email hello@notii.site.
What we collect
Your account
Your email address, your name (if you give one) and your password, which our sign-in provider stores in a form we can’t read. If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your email address and name. We also keep your settings, when you joined and, if you arrived through one of our links or ads, which one and whether it was marked for paid plans.
If you pay for Pro
Stripe, our payment processor, takes your card or other payment details and billing address on its own pages; we never see or store your full card number. We keep your Stripe customer and subscription ids, your plan’s state (monthly or yearly, when the period ends and whether it renews) and, if you start a free trial, Stripe’s fingerprint of the card (a code that can’t be turned back into its number), so a card has one free trial, and Stripe tells us your card’s brand, last four digits and expiry date so the app can show them in Settings → Plan & billing. We give Stripe your email address and name so your receipts and invoices reach you.
What you put in Builderii
Your boards and everything on them: diagrams, app screens, sticky notes, text, comments, the images and files you upload, board versions, folders, and the templates and components you save. Boards you make before signing in stay in your browser until you sign in.
Information about people you work with
When you invite someone to a board, team or project, or @mention them in a comment, we keep their email address so we can give them access and let them know. When someone tries a prototype through its test link, we record which screens they visited and where they tapped, without their name.
How you use Builderii
Our servers keep technical logs (such as the time, the request and an error, if any) to run and secure Builderii. They don’t record your prompts or your boards. We also use Google Analytics, described below, to see which pages and features are used.
How we use it
- To run Builderii for you: save and sync your boards, show them to the people you share them with, send the emails you trigger (invitations and mentions), and keep your account secure.
- To take payment for Pro, keep your plan up to date and keep the records that tax and accounting laws require.
- For the AI features described below.
- To answer you when you contact us or send feedback.
- To understand and improve Builderii, from analytics and logs, and to find and fix problems.
- To see whether our ads lead people to sign up (described under Analytics and cookies).
- To protect Builderii and its users, and to meet legal obligations.
We don’t sell your personal information, we don’t show ads in Builderii, and we don’t use your boards to build advertising profiles. We don’t send marketing emails.
The AI features
Builderii’s AI runs on Anthropic’s Claude through Amazon Bedrock, hosted by Amazon Web Services. If Claude is unavailable, the same request may go to Google’s Gemini API instead. These providers process the content to return the result, under their terms for business use. When you use the AI, it receives what that feature needs:
- Drawing and changing diagrams, app screens, mind maps and the like: your prompt, the diagrams already on the page and what you’ve selected.
- Expanding ideas, grouping notes, summaries, rewriting, specs and code: the text of the elements or page you chose.
- Screenshots, photos and sketches you ask it to turn into screens: the image.
- Applying a brand: we read the website you name (its page and stylesheets) and send the AI a summary of its colours, fonts and style.
- The AI chat and Help’s Ask AI: your question, the conversation so far and a description of the page or the help pages it needs.
We keep an AI request and its result for a day (larger ones for two days) so it can finish and reach you; our logs record which feature ran and how long it took, not what you asked.
Rendered designs
When you render screens into finished designs, the AI picks real-world references and stock photos for them. It searches Wikimedia Commons, randomuser.me and picsum.photos for photos, using search words it writes (such as “coffee shop interior”), not your content. If you connect your own Mobbin account, it searches Mobbin the same way, and we keep the sign-in Mobbin gives us so you don’t have to connect again. Builderii also keeps a copy of each rendered screen with every word replaced by filler text and the photos, links and addresses removed, for up to a year, so later renders (yours and other people’s) can use its layout as a reference.
ChatGPT, Claude and other connected apps
You can connect Builderii to AI apps such as ChatGPT and Claude, and to your own tools. You choose this, and you can undo it.
- ChatGPT and Claude connect with your permission: you sign in to Builderii and choose Allow. The app can then use Builderii’s tools while you use it, with your access: find and read your boards, make boards, draw and change diagrams, use Builderii’s AI and leave comments. What it reads goes to that app’s company (OpenAI for ChatGPT, Anthropic for Claude) and is handled under their privacy policies. Access lasts until you choose Disconnect in Builderii’s Settings → Connected apps.
- Access tokens let your own scripts and tools use the same tools as your account. We store them only in a form that can’t be turned back into the token. Revoke them in Settings → Access tokens.
When others can see your content
- People you share a board, team or project with see what’s shared, and the names and email addresses of the others on it.
- A share link, an embed or a prototype’s test link can be opened by anyone who has the address, without an account. Turning a link off stops it working for good.
- Images and files you upload are stored privately but served from an unguessable address: anyone who has that address can open the file.
- In live editing, the people on the board see your name, cursor and selection. Guests on a share link show as “Guest” with an animal name.
Who helps us run Builderii
We use these companies to run Builderii. They process information on our behalf, to provide their services to us:
| Company | What for | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services (USA) | Hosting, storage, sign-in, and the AI (Amazon Bedrock, running Anthropic’s Claude) | Everything stored in Builderii, and what the AI features send |
| Google (Gemini API) | The AI features, when Claude is unavailable | What the AI features send |
| Google (Analytics) | Usage statistics for the app and this website | Pages and features used, device and browser, approximate location |
| Google (Ads) | Measuring whether our ads on Google Search lead people to sign up (this website) | Pages visited on this website, device and browser, the ad you came from (if any), and that you went on to sign up |
| Google (Sign-in) | Continue with Google, if you use it | Your sign-in |
| Google (Fonts) | The fonts on your boards, loaded by your browser | Your browser’s request for the font (its IP address) |
| OpenAI (ads pixel) | Measuring whether our ads in ChatGPT lead people to sign up or subscribe (the app) | That you visited the sign-in screen, device and browser, the ad you came from (if any), that you made an account, and that you started a trial or paid for Pro |
| Stripe (USA) | Payments for Pro: checkout, renewals, the billing portal, receipts and invoices | Your email address and name, your payment details and billing address (entered on Stripe’s pages), and what you pay for |
| Twilio SendGrid | Sending Builderii’s emails | The recipient’s email address and the email |
| Mobbin (only if you connect it) | References for rendered designs | Search words the AI writes |
Analytics and cookies
Builderii keeps you signed in with your browser’s storage. We use Google Analytics on the app and on this website, Google’s ad measurement on this website, and OpenAI’s ad measurement on the app’s sign-in screen, to learn which pages are useful and which of our ads bring sign-ups. These set cookies. They never receive your boards, and the addresses they see have board ids and links removed.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, they only run if you choose Allow on the cookie banner; elsewhere they run unless you say no. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings (at the bottom of this website, and in the app’s account menu where the banner is shown), and saying no removes their cookies. We don’t use cookies to show you ads or to personalize ads.
Emails
Builderii sends emails only when something needs you: a sign-up code or password reset, an invitation to a board, team or project, and an @mention in a comment. They come from hello@notii.site, and replies to invitations and mentions go to the person who sent them. If you pay for Pro, Stripe may also email you receipts, invoices and notices about your payments. We don’t send newsletters or marketing emails.
How long we keep it
- Your account and boards: until you delete them, or ask us to delete your account.
- Deleted boards stay in the Trash, where you can restore them, until you choose Delete forever; then they’re deleted with their versions and links. Images uploaded to a board aren’t deleted with it yet; ask us and we’ll remove them.
- Automatic board versions: 30 days. Versions you name: as long as the board.
- AI requests and their results: one to two days. Rendered layout references (with no words or photos of yours): up to a year.
- Prototype test sessions: 180 days. In-app notifications: 90 days. Server logs: about a month.
- Your plan’s state and Stripe ids: while the account is open. Payment records (invoices and receipts): for as long as tax and accounting laws require, at Stripe.
- Backups of our database: about 35 days after a change.
Security
Builderii is served only over HTTPS. Your boards and files are stored in private storage, every request is checked against what your account may open, and passwords, connected-app tokens and access tokens are stored only as one-way hashes or by our sign-in provider. No system is perfectly secure; if you find a problem, email hello@notii.site and we’ll get back to you quickly.
Your choices and rights
- See your name and email in Settings → Account; to change them, email hello@notii.site.
- Export any board (PNG, SVG, PDF, PowerPoint, draw.io, Mermaid or JSON) from the board’s export menu.
- Delete boards from the Trash with Delete forever.
- Change your card, see invoices or cancel Pro in Settings → Plan & billing (Manage billing opens Stripe’s billing portal).
- Delete your account and everything in it: email hello@notii.site from your account’s address and we’ll do it within 30 days.
- Disconnect ChatGPT, Claude or any other app in Settings → Connected apps, and revoke access tokens in Settings → Access tokens.
- Refuse analytics and ad measurement with Cookie settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to complain to your data protection authority. Email hello@notii.site to use any of them; we won’t treat you differently for doing so.
Where your information is stored
Builderii runs in Amazon Web Services’ data centres in the United States (Oregon, and Virginia for the AI). If you use Builderii from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.
Children
Builderii isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, email hello@notii.site and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page when what we do changes, and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it applies.
